Siva Kesava Youth
From Gangalakurru Agraharam – Jagannathota
Hailing from Gangalakurru Agraharam, Siva Kesava Youth (SKY) represents the vibrant youth spirit driving the preservation of our temples and traditions. This dedicated group from our host village plays a pivotal role in the success of Jagannathota Prabhala Theertham — from constructing the annual village Prabha to securing national recognition and state festival status.
Our Formation
We, the Siva Kesava Youth (SKY), were formed in the year 2000 by a group of aastikas to serve and support the temples of Parvati Devi Sameta Veereswara Swamy and Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Kesava Swamy at Gangalakurru Agraharam, and to work for the recognition of Jagannathota Prabhala Theertham.
Temple Service
Our efforts focus on the day-to-day activities of the temples, including their maintenance and development, along with organizing pujas, festivals, and special occasions that strengthen community bonds in faith and devotion.
Annual Prabha Tradition
We contribute to constructing the Prabha for Gangalakurru Agraharam every year for the Theertham, building it fresh with volunteers and deconstructing it afterward. This tradition continues across generations, supporting the spirit of collective service.
